Homemade strawberry syrup

How to prepare one strawberry syrup home made? This preparation is very easy and will allow you to have an extra fresh and natural ingredient to add to yours home bar for the creation of your cocktails.

INGREDIENTS

  • Strawberries
  • Granulated white sugar

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Jar or similar container
  • Balance
  • Chopping board
  • Knife

PREPARATION

To prepare strawberry syrup, start by taking the cutting board and placing it on a stable surface and the knife. Proceed by cleaning the strawberries by removing the green parts of the leaves. Now cut the fruit into cubes, it is not important that these are regular. Try not to cut them too coarsely so as to increase the relationship of contact between fruit and sugar.

Weigh the fruit and place it in the jar along with an equal amount of granulated sugar. Close the jar and leave it in the fridge to rest for about a day.

After a day, take the container again and filter the fruit to divide the liquid. This way you will have obtained your syrup!

CONCLUSION

As you can see, preparing homemade strawberry syrup is really simple. If you prefer, you can obviously use a fruit other than strawberries based on your personal taste. What I can advise you is to go and use a fairly ripe fruit and that contains a’ high percentage of water inside (pineapple, watermelon, kiwi, fishing).
